The Tribe took on third place Gosnells over the weekend at Tom Bateman reserve and walked away with two hard earned wins knocking Gosnells to sixth place. Winning game one with a come from behind win West Stirling were able to add salt to the wound and easily dispatch the Hawks in game two. Notable performances by Ben Moore, Zack McMillin, Jarryd Henderson, and Reece Thompson.

After a successful string of wins against the top sides in the competition the Tribe has found themselves on the top of the State League ladder for the first time in recent memory. With two games left before the Christmas break head coach Jason Dewey had these words for the first place Indians "Stay humble and just keep doing what we've been doing. We've got a great thing going and let's stay on us and see where it goes."
